Can I book the hotels directly through you?
All hotel rooms will be booked directly with the hotels. When you make your booking, please inform the hotel that you are booking for the Colonia Sant Jordi Triathlon, and you will receive the special rates negotiated with the hotels.
I have signed up for the event, what happens now?
You will receive an email from us that confirms your registration and entry into the event. If you need to book a hotel, you can do so on the hotel pages. Now train hard! In the last week in March, we will send you an email that goes through the check-in procedures and explains exactly where you need to be and when.
Can I rent a good quality bike for the race?
Yes you can. We recommend TeamDoubleJ for their excellent bikes and they will fix you up with whatever you need.
Can I bring friends and family?
Yes you can, and all friends and family will be made very welcome. The town is a wonderful place to spend a few days and with a Saturday morning race, everyone will enjoy the weekend away.

We are 30 minutes from Palma airport. There are plenty of taxis outside the arrivals hall or book ahead and we will organise a pick up for you. See more in our Getting Here section under Location on the main menu bar.

What level of Triathlete is this race suited to?
We are a friendly race in a very picturesque part of the world. The course is fast and flat which makes it ideal for beginners as well as the pros. Whether you are racing for the money or are a first time entry to the Olympic distance, you will enjoy this race.
Can I stay in the area for a few days after the race to train?
Colonia Sant Jordi is the perfect place for Tri training. You can swim in the outdoor Olympic pool at the BEST Centre, or in the cyrstal clear open water off the beaches, ride the rolling terrain and hills of Son Salvador and Randa, and run in the soft woodland trails behind the beaches. Just let us know what you need and we will put it together for you.
Is the race really founded by Olympians?
Yes it is. Matthew and James, who set up the BEST Centre in 2009 are the organisers of this event. They are in good company, as Spanish Olympic cyclist Joan C. Tomas has his bike hire shop just around the corner from the pool. www.teamdoublej.com. The town is turning into a mini Olympic village!
